New York State Association of Central Service Professionals

Certification legislation has been introduced in 2011.

• A.6030, certification for Central Sterile Supply personnel in hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers, was introduced in January 2011 and assigned to the Higher Education Committee.
• S.5155, certification for Central Sterile Supply personnel in hospitals and ambulatory surgical centers, was introduced in May 2011 and assigned to the Health Committee.
