Completing The Application

3. OK. So now you have given yourself enough time to adequately prepare for the exam. You’ve studied the materials and are ready to take the test. You need to take the next step and complete the exam application (because the CRCST application is the most extensive, we’ll be concentrating on only that application for this step of the process; specific notes that apply to the CIS and CHL application will follow at the end of this section).
   
   Download the CRCST application from the download section of the website. Depending on where you are taking the exam, choose the application that best suits your needs:
   
   
   • If you are taking the exam in the United States or Canada, you need to download the US/Canada CRCST application: Click Here for Application (note, this is only an indication of where you are taking the exam; the certification is recognized internationally)
     
     
   • If you are taking the exam outside the United or Canada (for example, Saudi Arabia, China, India or England), you need to download the International CRCST application: Click Here for Application (note, this is only an indication of where you are taking the exam; the certification is recognized internationally, including the United States and Canada)
     
     Once you’ve downloaded a blank copy of the appropriate CRCST application, make sure to complete each section appropriately. Because we’ll be entering your information into our database, take care to print carefully and legibly throughout the entire application.
     
     On the next page, you will see some focus areas on the application that may require additional explanation.
