It’s the day of your exam! Deep breaths, you’re going to do fine! You should arrive to the site at least 30 minutes early, but don’t be late or your appointment could be cancelled. Arriving early allows you to take the practice tutorial at your seat so you’re freshly aware of how to answer your questions, mark questions to come back to later, and finalize your exam. Absolutely no personal belongings are allowed in the testing lab (a locker will be provided). There are no math questions on any of the exams, so there is no need for a calculator or any additional items. All purses, cases, coats, etc. should be checked into one of the provided lockers. We’re testing what you know and ask that only you be present for the exam
If you are noise sensitive, you can ask the test center administrator if earplugs are available
Wear comfortable, layered clothing, as test center temperatures may vary
You will have 3 hours to complete the CRCST exam

You will have 2 hours to complete the CIS exam
All questions are multiple choice, true/false or picture identification

No food or extended breaks will be allowed. Please check with the test site administrator if you require a restroom break during the exam.
If you leave the testing site for any reason, your exam will be submitted as complete and you will not be allowed to return and answer any missed questions (your score will be calculated and submitted to IAHCSMM at the time of your departure from the building)
