Workshop on Teaching and Learning
Pre-Conference Event
(formerly Instructor’s Update)

Only 50 Seats LeftAs a special pre-conference event, IAHCSMM will be hosting a Workshop on Teaching and Learning, This fast-paced workshop will begin with an update on the Association’s educational offerings, and continue with five 30-minute programs, appealing to anyone who works with CSSD education.

Below, you will find a brief overview of this not to be missed event:

  • Language and Communication: A Cornerstone of Education
  • Teaching Technical Skills
  • Easy Ways to Teach Difficult Topics
  • In-Service Planning and Development & Workshop Planning, Organization and Management
  • Presentation Skills

A nominal $25 additional fee per registrant provides access to the full workshop worth 3.0 CE Contact Hours, plus a dinner generously sponsored by 3M Healthcare. Advance registration is required for this Workshop on Teaching and Learning, and seating is limited.

Although this workshop is open to all interested registrants, all attendees of the workshop must be registered and paid in full for both the 2012 Annual Conference and Expo plus the Workshop on Education and Learning. This workshop is not a free offering. All registrations and payment must be received no later than April 1, 2012. No cancellations or late registrations will be honored after this date.

As a special reminder, please understand that this offering occurs one day prior to the start of the 2012 Annual Conference and Expo. All other Hands-On Labs or Workshops provided Saturday April 28, 2012 event are complimentary as part of a full conference registration, and no further registration is required. Seating for all labs and workshops are on a first-come, first-served basis.
